Brighton-based Andreya Triana is the product of a stream of musical experimentation, which has seen her progress from making homemade mixtapes and working with a musician's collective to releasing her debut album. Collaborations with the likes of Bonobo and Flying Lotus have also pushed Triana further into the limelight, and, going by the svelte nature of Lost Where I Belong, she'll be there for some time to come. Songs such as Draw the Stars, A Town Called Obsolete, Far Closerand Something in the Silenceevince the kind of sultriness that Triana can deliver with lots of style. Too familiar perhaps? Yes, but there's a star in the making her. Check out her Electric Picnic appearance in a fortnight's time.
