Now in its 13th year, Planetlove is the homegrown knees-up that has seen off competition from such imported brands as Creamfields, Homelands and Hi-Fi over the years. It’s still on the calendar and still attracting thousands who want to scream along to high-velocity dance tunes.

Trance and hard dance have long been the flavours of choice for Planetlove fans, and this year’s gallery of trancers and highsteppers includes Ferry Corsten , ATB (below, playing their first Irish show in more than a decade), reformed US producers Gabriel Dresden, Marco V, Lisa Lashes, Alex Kidd, Scot Project, the evergreen Judge Jules and dozens more. For fans of old-school techno, Technotronic are on the bill, with hardcore luminary Sharkey playing his last ever set before calling it a day.

It’s not all veterans and established names, though, with appearances too from Activator, WW and Bloweapon.
