Let's get this right: an album that came out about this time last year, and which subsequently off-loaded three No 1 hits, is rebooted with remixes, new tracks and a DVD, and released in the same week that X Factorcomes to a head?

Ah, may God bless record company marketing departments one and all. Burke, as some of you may know, is an alumni of the X FactorCharm School, and while her debut album hit the spot for those who voted her the 2008 winner, a year is a long time in pop music, especially the kind of pop that sees last year's winner (Joe McElderry - remember him?) not exactly conquering the world. Burke is an able if identikit pop star, mind, but she's a bit like snow: nice to experience for a while, then you just wish she'd go away.
