Why has nobody thought of it before? Toni Iommi, the cacophonous guitarist for Black Sabbath, has announced that he is to produce a series of horror films named after the Precambrian Brummie heavy metal band.

It seems that the movies won’t actually concern the group (boo!), but will use the name of Black Sabbath as a “jumping-off point”.

Ozzie Osbourne, who is currently suing Iommi for the rights to use the name Black Sabbath is, presumably, fuming eccentrically as you read this.
