What do we make of the news that plans are already under way to make a sequel to Guy Ritchie’s upcoming Robert Downey Jr-Jude Law starrer Sherlock Holmes?
Well, the film has had a troubled history, with the studio allegedly demanding reshoots. But the trailer is an absolute stormer and trailers matter these days. Also, it has been suggested that Brad Pitt might turn up in Sherlock Holmes II as the evil Moriarty.
Let’s be frank, you could finance a sequel to, oh, I don’t know, Speed Racer on Mr Pitt’s name.
