Designed to bust your couch potato habits, this follow-up to
EA Sports Activeimproves on the original. For example, you no longer need controllers. Instead of strapping a nunchuk to your leg, you have two sensors: one for your arm, which measures the heart rate as well as movement, and one for your leg. It results in a far more accurate system – and you're less likely to get caught in the nunchuk's wire while exercising. You can also work extras such as dumbbells into your routine. Once playing, you have the choice between creating your own customised programme from more than 70 exercises, or allowing the trainer to take you through a pre-set workout designed to tone, trim and improve your cardiac fitness. You can even upload your workout results to the Sports Active website to keep track of your progress. Exhausting but fun.
