Will Clint join Beyoncé on Born?

Talk of a third remake of A Star Is Born,starring Beyoncé in a role previously played by Janet Gaynor, Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand, just won't go away. It now transpires that Clint Eastwood, currently working on a biopic of J Edgar Hoover, may step behind the camera. Russell Crowe was originally rumoured to be considering the male lead (an older actor romancing a fresh protégé), but chatter has now moved on to Will Smith and Jon Hamm.
