Michael Bay has explained why
Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallenwas so unspeakably ghastly. "Did he just look in the mirror?" I hear you say. Don't be so disrespectful. Talking to I, Bay, director of the first two films in the franchise, put the blame on the writers' strike that raged in 2007 and 2008.
"When I look back at it, that was crap," he remarked (accurately) of the film. "The writers' strike was coming hard and fast. It was just terrible to do a movie where you've got to have a story in three weeks."
Okay, so how come
Pearl Harbor, Armageddon, Bad Boys IIand
The Islandwere all so lousy as well. Huh?
Transformers 3: Dark of the Moonis released in the summer and it's bound to be great.
