The Corona Cork Film Festival ended on Sunday with the announcement of a host of prizes for talented makers of short films.

Peter McDonald won best Irish short for his nifty comedy Pentecost. Baby, another stylish slice of realism from Daniel Mulloy, already a multi-award winner, was triumphant in the race for best international short. The Claire Lynch Award for an Irish debut went to Cathy Brady's excellent Small Change. Florian Riegel's Holding Stillwon the "award of the festival for best short film".
