Berry wins LA director award

Congratulations to Frank Berry, director of the excellent Ballymun Lullaby, for winning the prestigious Directors Finders Series. The award, conceived by the Directors Guild of America, permits him to showcase the film at that body's LA theatre next month.

The film, which premiered at this year’s Jameson Dublin International Film Festival, follows local residents as they participate in the Ballymun Music Programme. Check out a fine scene from the picture at vimeo.com.
