The report in last Thursday's editions headed "Only 70 Irish beaches qualify for Blue Flag" should have included the information that the Blue Flag scheme is co-ordinated by An Taisce.

The sentence structure in an Irish Times report from the Presbyterian General Assembly, published on Thursday June 8th, may have given the impression that Dr John Dunlop had said the name of the RUC must change. This is not so. Dr Dunlop was quoting a Catholic friend.
