Bit of a Blur: Blur have been announced as Oxegen headliners, and will play their only Irish date of 2009 at the festival in July.
Mogwai magic:¨ Über-respected post-rockers Mogwai have announced three dates (March 20th-22nd) at The Academy.
Pete for the Phil:Trinity College's Philosophical Society will play host to former Libertine Pete Doherty tonight. The "troubled star" will participate in an interview (open only to members of the society) at 5pm.
Cole coming:Lloyd Cole will play two dates on May 11th and 12th at Whelan's, where he recorded a live album last year. He'll also visit Galways Róisín Dubh on May 10th.
