Jameson Dublin International Film FestivalFrom breakthrough successes like The Last Seduction onwards, Tartan Films have introduced a generation to the delights of everything from Asian cinema to Spanish auteurs.

The company's vision is celebrated in a season reprising some of their most thrilling discoveries. From Asia come John Woo's kinetic gangster melodrama Hard-Boiled (1992) and Takashi Miike's gripping Audition (1999). Jamon Jamon (1992) introduced us to the bravado of director Bigas Luna, while Man Bites Dog (1992) is a blackly comedic vision of violence.

From the American Independents movement comes Carl Franklin's One False Move (1991), and the most recent film in the season, The Eyes of Tammy Faye (2000).
