A man is due in court in connection with an alleged assault on two gardaí in Dublin city.

The Garda said the two officers were assaulted while responding to a public order incident in the city centre shortly after 2am on Monday, July 20th.

Both were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

A man aged in his 30s was arrested later.

He is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Tuesday.
