Dr Niamh Brennan has been appointed to the Michael McCormac Chair of Management at University College Dublin

Dr Niamh Brennan has been appointed to the Michael McCormac Chair of Management at University College Dublin. The new chair is named in honour of Prof Michael McCormac, who established the first MBA in Europe in 1964 at UCD, and is funded by a group of commerce faculty alumni.

Dr Brennan, of UCD's Department of Accountancy, has a first-class honours science degree (microbiology and biochemistry) from the university, a PhD from the University of Warwick Business School and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland.
