The Irish Bankers Federation (IBF) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) are due to publish their latest quarterly mortgage market profile today.

Previous IBF/PwC statistics showed that the value of new mortgages fell 16 per cent in the first half of the year, and today's figures will reveal whether this steep decline continued into quarter three.
