Micro Systemation’s iPhone hack

How secure is the information on your smartphone? With the XRY tool from Swedish firm Micro Systemation it’s only a matter of minutes before an iPhone’s passcode can be bypassed and your data backed up, downloaded and decrypted. This tool is being sold to law enforcement and military officials. A lot of information can be retrieved. For example, if you’ve deleted pictures on your Blackberry, they can be easily retrieved from the phone’s data logs. The current version doesn’t work on the iPhone 4s.

Djay for iPad

It used to take two turntables and a microphone to demonstrate mixmaster talent but now you can unleash your inner disc jockey with the aptly named djay app for the iPad.

Its slick interface displays two virtual turntables where you can practice scratching skills using your iTunes library.

It has automatic beat and tempo detection for syncing songs.

If real-life scratching intrigues you then check out DJ Qbert at /iti.ms/H8AwEX. Wa-wuh-wuh-wicked.
