Tax judgments have been registered against two Irish retail chains, Champion Sports and Chartbusters, according to the latest issue of Stubbs Gazette.

A judgment for €43,733 was registered against Champion Sports Ireland on May 31st, while a judgment for €37,107 was registered against Chartbusters Limited.

Home entertainment group Chartbusters went into examinership in early 2009 with estimated debts of €20 million.

Champion Sports was bought by investment vehicle PCP One in 2006.
