Sales increase at Glaxo

SALES at the world's biggest drugs company, Glaxo Wellcome, rose 7 per cent in the 18 months to the end of December. The group generated pre tax profits of £2.4 billion sterling, compared with £1.9 billion for the 12 months to December 31st, 1994.
