THE boys and girls at Riada Stockbrokers were said to be slightly upset at the sight of their new home down in the IFSC.
After an initial viewing of their new abode last week, several were even heard to mutter about relocation expenses - not something their Dutch masters are likely to be keen on.
But what is the problem? Surely the centre, the jewel in Ireland's financial crown, is full of posh office blocks.
Apparently not, the new Riada building is in the old Sheriff Street sorting office. "The windows are so small you'd need a periscope to look out," one wag was heard to observe.
The biggest gripes include the lack of shopping facilities and, difficult car-parking. Whoever said a broker's life is an easy one. They all surely deserve bigger bonuses to make up for the inconvenience.
