Providence to develop oilfield

Providence Resources, the oil exploration group that was spun off from Arcon International, has decided in principle to go ahead with the development of its Helvick oilfield off the Waterford coast. But the group has made the development conditional on the completion of negotiations with a contractor, getting the necessary regulatory approval and obtaining finance.
