Hewlett-Packard has appointed Ms Rachel Eager as accounts operations manager for Ireland at its European Outsourcing Centre in Leixlip, Co Kildare. Previously Ms Eager worked at Esat Telecom as a customer care manager.
Oce Ireland, the document company, has appointed Mr Brian McArdle as national partner manager. He will be responsible for Oce partners in the areas of hardware, software and added value sales. Esat Telecom has appointed Mr Richard Cooke as group Internet director. He will be responsible for Esat's Ireland OnLine consumer portal, devising and implementing Internet and e-Business strategy and developing the IP Hub Web Hosting business which is due to launch in the summer.
Mr Seamus O'Donoghue has been appointed secretary to the Irish Co-Operative Society (ICOS). In this position Mr O'Donoghue will advise existing and new co-operative societies with regard to registration, rule amendments, legislative issues and co-operative start-up requirements. Mr O'Donoghue holds a degree in agriculture economics and an MBA from UCD. Bates Advertising has appointed Ms Angela Healy as strategic planning executive. Ms Healy holds a BA in international marketing & languages from Dublin City University. United Agricultural Twines has appointed Mr George Jordan to look after its sales and marketing interests in Ireland. Mr Jordan has more than 10 years experience in agriculture.
Horizon Technology Group has appointed Mr Tomas Jones as corporate development manager. He will be responsible for strategic business development and investor relations. Mr Jones has worked previously with Davy Stockbrokers and Enterprise Ireland.
Mr Richard Sansom has been appointed chief financial officer of Wit Capital Europe, the Dublin-based joint venture between Enba and Wit Capital Europe.
