NORWICH Union members eligible to vote on the flotation proposals have to do so by tomorrow morning. Postal votes have to be received in Ireland not later than 11 a.m. on April 16th for the votes to be counted, Norwich said yesterday. Members who wish to vote in person can attend the extraordinary general meeting in London on Friday.
Under the constitution of Norwich Union, three quarters of voting members need to vote in favour of the flotation for it to proceed.
The value of the free shares going to qualifying members in Ireland is estimated at £140-£170 million, provided the flotation is approved.
