Mother and daughter team, Doreen Hogg and Sarah Baker, best known in farming circles for their expertise in applying information technology to Irish pig and dairy farms, have joined up with Agrinet, the farm computer package developed by Avonmore Waterford Group and Irish Farm Computers. The Agrinet product will replace the New Zealand developed farm software Ms Hogg and Ms Baker had previously distributed. Agrinet has been specifically developed by farming software experts for Irish farming conditions.
Within the Agrinet team, Ms Hogg and Ms Baker will focus on the IT needs of dairy farmers in north Wexford and Tipperary. They will also continue to install, train and support the users of the EasiCare pig herd management package throughout Ireland.
