German shares ended a week of record highs by taking a dip in bourse trade but hit new highs in the late electronic session as the dollar firmed and bunds pared losses after an early tumble.
Paris CAC-40: 1966.73 (+16.54)
French shares ended higher with some support from Wall Street and final hour, futures driven buying. A rise in the dollar and a strong advance by Saint Gobain also boosted the index.
