Irish Life Investment Managers (ILIM) has appointed Ms Sileanne Wootton as chief investment officer for the company.
Ms Wootton, who is from Dublin, is currently director of international equities with AMP Asset Management in London. AMP operates a similar stock selection process to that which ILIM is now adopting.
ILIM has recently "refocused its stock selection process using state of the art technology and data together with research to identify undervalued companies".
In a related move, Mr Frank O'Brien, formerly investment fund manager, has been appointed as head of the ILIM Irish equity desk. He will concentrate on a new strategy towards the Irish investment market.
