The Irish Farmers' Association has repeated its demand that all four agricultural sectors eligible for green pound compensation must be eligible for the full national compensation.

IFA president, Mr John Donnelly welcomed indications that the Minister for Agriculture had sought national compensation for the cattle and beef sectors but has demanded that similar compensation be made available for dairy, grain and sugar beet farmers.
