Guinness tops up profits

Guinness Ireland's pre tax profits received a 5 per cent boost from the long hot summer, according to figures released yesterday. The group turned in pre tax profits of £148 million last year. Sales also rose to £703 million. Lager sales were particularly strong. Page 2
