Greencore close to success

Greencore's £33 million bid for the British pizza crust company Paramount Foods seems assured of success. Greencore announced yesterday that it has received acceptances in respect of 82.1 per cent of Paramount shares while a further 6.6 per cent acceptances are awaited.
