Fusion Business Solutions, the information technology consulting arm of Horizon Technology Group, has signed a €2.2 million (£1.7 million) deal to implement a SAP software solution for Jurys Doyle Hotel group.

Jurys is introducing the SAP-based business solution in the areas of finance management, human resources, payroll and purchasing to streamline its operations across 33 hotels.

The software system should enable better business-to -business communication within the group across the Republic, Britain and the US.

It will also facilitate e-procurement, which will lead to significant efficiency- and cost-based benefits.
