Court finds Anglo trial judge ‘in error’ when he attempted to adjudicate on admissibility

Two former Anglo Irish Bank officials have had their convictions for conspiracy to defraud Revenue and falsify records quashed at the Court of Appeal.

Bernard Daly, former Anglo company secretary, and Tiarnan O’Mahoney, former chief operations officer, were jailed last July.
