The Department of Finance is seeking expressions of interest for positions on the new Central Bank Commission and the advisory committee to the National Treasury Management Agency. Interested parties have until 5pm on January 13th to apply for the positions.

Minister for Finance Michael Noonan is to appoint one or more members to the commission, with economics, actuarial science, financial control, social policy and consumer interests among appropriate areas of experience. He has the power to appoint seven members to the committee. Send expressions of interest to cbcexpressions@finance.gov.ie and ntmaexpressions@finance.gov.ie. They should set out actual or potential conflicts of interest, the department said. They should also include a “statement of suitability” and CV.
