Finance operation centralised in Dublin

Bowne Global Solutions, the global localisation company, has decided to centralise its European financial function in Dublin

Bowne Global Solutions, the global localisation company, has decided to centralise its European financial function in Dublin. While the decision will not result in more jobs, Bowne Global Solutions's non-European financial functions may also be centralised to Dublin and this could create significant new employment. The company currently employs 100 people in Dublin and says the move is part of an initiative "to implement a standardised finance system throughout all Bowne worldwide divisions".

The company has operations in 10 European states and its financial administration will now be done through Dublin. A specially developed software application will be used in Dublin to process the information.

Bowne Global Solutions localises electronic products, mainly software - translating the product into the user's language, adapting some technical aspects and making the product more compatible with the culture where it is sold.
