The State's longest-established managed fund, the Evergreen fund, is this year celebrating 30 years. Earlier this year, BCP awarded the Evergreen fund its annual investment award for Best Performing Managed Growth Fund. The fund is still open and is part of New Ireland's Smart Funds series of investment products. The Smart Funds are managed by Bank of Ireland Asset Management (BIAM).
More than £108 million is invested in the Evergreen Fund in more than 10,000 policies, according to Mr Dave Swanton of New Ireland Assurance.
