Revenues at titanium miner Kenmare grew strongly as sales and prices increased during the third quarter.

The company said in an interim statement yesterday that while production from its titanium mine in Moma, Mozambique, increased 27 per cent to 196,000 tonnes, it was still operating below capacity.

Prices for the titanium feedstocks that Kenmare produces have been rising this year, with China in particular increasing its consumption in recent years.

Changes there may affect consumption but Kenmare says they are unlikely to have an overall impact on demand.
