Consortium applies for radio licence

A consortium called FM 106

A consortium called FM 106.8, the City Consortium, has made an application to the IRTC for a contract to provide an independent radio service for Dublin aimed at adults of all ages, but in particular those in the 25-44 year range.

The new station would be located at Windmill Lane, Dublin. The members of the consortium are: Ms Paulyn Marrinan Quinn (chair); Mr Paul Kavanagh, TV3 Television Network Ltd; Mr Donnach O Driscoll; Mr Alan McEvoy; Mr Alan Chambers; Mr PJ O'Riordan; Mr Adrian Robinson; and Ms Mary Harrison.
