Competition Authority and the DPP

In relation to a report titled "Competition Authority refers three price-fixing investigations to DPP" in Saturday's editions, the director of enforcement at the Competition Authority, Mr Pat Massey, has asked us to point out that he did not express a view on the likelihood of the DPP initiating criminal proceedings in the case of three files which the authority has sent to it.
