The site of a former petrol-filling station and an adjoining house at Drimnagh Road, Dublin 12, are for sale at €500,000 on the instructions of receiver George Maloney, of Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon.

Eoin Ryan of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald is handling the sale of the property on the northern side of Drimnagh Road at the junction with Long Mile Road and Walkinstown Road. It is currently used as a car-wash facility and adjoins the two-storey, five-bedroom detached house.

There is full planning permission for a four-storey block with retail use on the groundfloor, overhead offices and two three-bedroom apartments.

The car-wash facility is located on a site of 0.18 of a hectare (0.43 of an acre). The fuel tanks have been removed and the ground decontaminated.

The two-storey, 137.5sq m (1,480sq ft) house stands on a site of 0.07 of a hectare (0.18 of an acre).

The same agent is quoting a guide price of €800,000 for a site of 7.01 hectares (17.33 acres) on the Naul Hill Road at Naul, Co Dublin, with planning permission for a 60-bedroom nursing home.

The site is 1km from Naul village and includes a number of farm sheds and a former sports grounds.

Ryan says he is expecting strong interest in the property because of the existing planning permission. It will be sold in either one or three lots.
