DANISH home and giftwear retailer Tiger is to open a store in the highly successful Whitewater shopping centre in Newbridge, Co Kildare. The multiple is likely to be paying 10 per cent of its turnover in lieu of rent for 241sq m (2,600sq ft) on the first floor of the complex which is anchored by Debenhams and Marks Spencer. Tiger is also trading out of two locations in Dublin, the Omni Park shopping centre and Dún Laoghaire shopping centre.
Tegan White of Savills, who handled the letting, said Tiger would be a great addition to the Co Kildare centre as it offered a unique range of products.
