WITH THE stock of starter homes rapidly running out in the Swords area of north Dublin, developer Gerry Gannon is gearing up for the next round of developments when the market returns to normality.

Gannon has just secured planning approval from Fingal County Council for 245 mainly three and four-bedroom houses on lands at Glen Ellan Road at Oldtown, Co Dublin. It will be the first phase of a development which will eventually have about 1,200 homes. Gannon Properties’ loans are being managed by Nama.
