UK multiple Bank Fashion has opened its first stand-alone Irish store at Liffey Valley shopping centre in west Dublin. The trader, part of the JD Sports group, specialises in women and men’s clothing such as Superdry, Paul’s Boutique, Nanny State and Ribbon. Bank is likely to be paying a rent in excess of €300,000 for 464sq m (5,000sq ft) previously occupied by Early Learning which has relocated in the centre that is now fully occupied. JD Sports, new owners of Champion Sports, have taken over that company’s premises along with adjoining space which will give it a unit of more than 929sq m (10,000 sq ft).

Nandos restaurant group is also to open at the centre this month, after agreeing to move into a 464 sq m (4,994 sq ft) unit at two levels previously rented by Pizza Hut. Diane Crean of Savills handled the lettings.
