A READY-TO-GO site for a retail centre and medical consulting facilities at Drimnagh Road in Dublin 12 is to be offered for sale for the third time in six years by Jonathan Preston of Savills.
Then 0.41 of a hectare brownfield site beside Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital is now for sale at €750,000 – representing an 87 per cent fall on the €6 million it made in 2006.
An Bord Pleanala granted planning approval last January for a mixed use development of 2,935sq m (31,591sq ft) including two retail units and 17 medical consulting rooms and offices along with 59 dedicated car spaces and seven on-street spaces. Planning permission has also been granted for a similar scale four-storey Community Primary Care health centre on the adjoining site which belonged to the Methodist Church.
