THE FORMER AIB bank building at Salthill in Galway has come on the market following a decision to relocate to an adjoining premises.

DTZ Sherry FitzGerald is guiding €1.4 million for the freehold premises which has a ground floor banking hall of 177sq m (1,905sq ft) and 95sq m (1,022sq ft) at first floor level.

The building stands on a site of 0.056 of a hectare (0.14 of an acre) with the rear having access from Quincentennial Drive. The new bank building will be on the site of the former Jameson Hotel.
