Bank of Ireland has appointed 50 "euro specialists" to help business customers prepare for the introduction of the European single currency. The experts will be based at the bank's various business centres and they will be assisted by an EMU unit headed by Mr Michael Watson.
The initiative is part of the bank's euro information programme. Bank of Ireland's euroFocus publications are available on the Internet on the bank's website at http:// www.bankofireland.ie.
