Glanbia’s Siobhán Talbot accepts ‘Irish Times’ award

She receives award for having successfully overseen a deal to spin off Glanbia’s Irish dairy and and agribusiness operation

As the winner of the inaugural The Irish Times Business Person of the Month Award, in association with KPMG, Siobhán Talbot, Glanbia's group managing director, was presented with a framed version of the artwork specially commissioned for the award.

She received the award for May, having successfully overseen a deal to spin off Glanbia's Irish dairy and and agribusiness operation into a joint venture, called Glanbia Ireland.

Ms Talbot was joined in The Irish Times building on Tara Street in Dublin for the presentation by Shaun Murphy, managing partner of KPMG in Ireland, and Dominic Coyle, The Irish Times deputy business editor.

The monthly award is a new initiative by The Irish Times, supported by KPMG, one of Ireland’s leading professional services firms. It will culminate next year in an awards night to recognise the achievements of the monthly winners and to announce the Business Person of the Year, and other award winners.
