Aer Lingus bid is out

Airline boss Willie Walsh said yesterday a Ryanair takeover of Aer Lingus has merits.

He ruled out International Airline Group, which he leads, bidding for Aer Lingus. Mr Walsh was speaking at the RDS after receiving its gold medal award for industry and commerce.
