What are you reading?
I’m reading several books simultaneously; Gustave Flaubert – Madame Bovary, Ann Charters – Beat Down To Your Soul, Friedrich Nietzsche – Thus Spake Zarathustra.

Last film you saw and your verdict?
The Deep – Maverick Baltasar Kormákur. I was frozen and thawed by it and the tears burned my cheek.

Last gig/concert you went to and your verdict?
Subhumans & Conflict in The Button Factory – the support was excellent – Grand Collapse (Welsh Band), Dropping Bombs (Dublin band) Swapped my E.P.s to the bassist for Grand Collapse band tshirt – PUNX! TRADE! INDEPENDENT!

Last stage production you saw and your verdict?
Solpadine is my boyfriend rigorous and like 50 psychological reps – not too obvious – charming

Last gallery / museum / exhibition you visited and your verdict?
London Gallery – ancient Egypt much more receptive to its wonder than when it was imposed on me in school (felt like the mummified bodies should NOT be on display. They deserve dignity and respect).

You have a golden ticket to Easons, what magazine is first on your list?
Trail Bike Magazine (Dirt Bike magazine)

What are your most clicked bookmarks?
Wikipedia – historical figure and symbolism.

Do you have a favourite podcast or radio programme?
No. I boycotted radio/tv/media when I was 17 I deeply oppose phone shows.

When you fall into a YouTube hole what’s the general subject matter of the videos you’re watching?
Varies from the likes of film scenes to comic sketches e.g. Vivre Sa Vie “Nanas Dance” Bill Hicks “JFK assignation”

What song should we listen to right now?
Daft Punk, ‘Doin’ It Right’.

Which boxset/TV series do you have on the go at the moment?
I don’t watch TV (since I was 17) but of the box-sets I own Star Trek (1960’s). Bottom is getting as much love as possible with my busy schedule.

Which app do you use the most?
Aldiko Book Reader, Dictionary App, Wikipedia

Do you play video games or mobile platform games, and if so, what’s your favourite at the moment?
No I never had a console as a child, I was more so inclined to create and play with toys, model mala and draw – I did recently take up a new game – an actual one SKATEBOARDING (but I’m not going to practice before the show runs its course in case I injure myself!! Hah!)

What is your favourite club night of all time?
People enjoying sober fun, fearless & respectful, universally aware & free. I dance alone – or with everyone.

If you could transport one international cultural outlet to your home town, what would it be and why?
I would bring a portion of the Barbary Coast into my locality (actually, even a conch from its belly would satisfy my heart.)

And finally, if you check out one poet this week make it…
Saul Williams.

Elayne Harrington appears in Break at the Dublin Fringe Festival, a performance which runs until September 21st. More info and buy tickets here.
