Clint Eastwood’s daughter Francesca destroyed a Birkin bag for artistic purposes alongside her photographer boyfriend.

“Destruction is a beautiful version of freedom,” she says on her website, perhaps (I might be stretching this now) riffing on Bakunin’s infamous “the passion for destruction is a creative passion” line. There’s also a low-rent version of the stunt with a pair of Louboutin’s getting the chop following which Eastwood proclaims “never let an object own you.” I think someone has been watching this:
