The first music conference of the Irish industry year takes place next month with the return of Output to Belfast’s Mac on February 16. As with all happenings of this ilk, you’ve got a day of keynotes, panels and discussions with a bunch of acts playing by night.

On the conference side, some of the highlights will be contributions from Pledge Music’s Benji Rogers on the current state of Blockchain, a co-songwriting pow-wow with former member of the Longpigs Crispin Hunt who has done just that with Ellie Goulding, Florence and the Machine and Jake Bugg, graphic designer Ferry Gouw, BBC Radio 1 Rock Show host Daniel P Carter on the future for rock and metal, a panel on country music (yee-haw) and members of Adidas and Jagermeister’s music teams on working with music and brands.

Acts playing the festival include Touts, Ryan Vail, Jealous of the Birds, Making Monsters, Joshua Burnside, Malojian, R51, Le Boom, Robyn G Shiels, Chanele McGuinness, ELLLL and many more.
