Longitude gets in line

Kendrick Lamar, Major Lazer and The National head the impressive bill for the Marlay Park festival

Kendrick gets ready for Dublin

Fri, Jan 22, 2016, 12:20

Here’s the first list of acts slated for the forthcoming fourth run of the Longitude festival in Marlay Park, Dublin from July 15 to 17:

Kendrick Lamar (much as we’d prefer to see the dude behind of the albums of 2015 in a venue with a roof and walls, modern music business gigonimcs means we make do with Kenrick and co in a field for their second Irish show. Could be great)
Major Lazer (Saturady night headliners)
The National (a band that everyone in Ireland has now seen. Twice)
Jamie XX (keep going back to “In Colour” because it’s such a winner)
Father John Misty (b-o-r-i-n-g)
Tyler, The Creator (as long as no-one decides to ban him)
Róisín Murphy (hurrah)
Action Bronson
Courtney Barnett (excellent)
A$AP Ferg (fine hip-hop shape to this bill)

All Tvvins
Rejjie Snow
Pleasure Beach
Saint Sister

Tickets: weekend tickets are €159.50 and day tickets are €64.50 (both subject to Ticketmaster/Live Nation party taxes and charges) and go on Sale next Friday morning.
